I had to add a lot of nose weight and had to fabricate the wheel wells out of brass tubing cut in half.Had to order aftermarket landing gear because the kit supplied gear leaves a lot to be desired....

I had the Contrail vac kit many years ago.  I still have nightmares.  I wake up at night, screaming, sheets soaked in sweat...  Oh wait, that was Ripley from “Aliens”.

Although I gave it a good try, it wasn’t good enough.  Someone offered me a resin kit for free, and I said “Nnnno.  No no no no...”. And then I got the Airfix kit.  When the heck is this TSR.2 nightmare gonna end?  Somebody please make a good quality kit.  Such a pretty plane.
