One color models for army men collection
Posted by Toy Soldier Lover on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 5:02 PM

Hello. I just got back into collecting army men/toy soldiers and vehicles for them. I plan on building some vehicles for the collection as well. I'm soon going to receive a Squadron Models 1/72 scale Haunebu II model kit, and I want to paint it red for red toy soldiers. I would like to know what type of brush to use for painting models one color. Should I use airbrush, paintbrush, spray paint, or some other method I have never heard of? Thanks in advance.

Your best bet for what you are doing is a spray can. You aren't going for shading or weathering.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.

I agree and I would purcahse a large spray can of the same color and spray everything all at one time cause if you stop at some point to switch cans not all can spray will end up being the same color and yes, each can can be a slightly differant hue or tint.
