                        If you see the instructions (top of page 4), it calls the metal barrel a "detail up" part that is not included https://www.tamiyausa.com/media/files/35351-ml-379-42b7.pdf

                        Also worth checking out a kit before buying it. As far as i can tell, that kit never came with a metal barrel included, thats sold seperatly. There are US sellers selling that kit for $74 and the gun for just over 20. Not sure how that compares once you throw in postage.

                        That's pretty annoying.

                        Tell him you'll complain to Paypal and give him a bad rating unless he gets you a gun barrel. I doubt it'll get you anywhere, 

                        Or, demand a refund and keep looking. That's probably what I would do.

                        I just bought a kit of a Tamiya M40 self-propelled 155mm gun on ebay. It was one of a few advertised on ebay with a metal gun barrel kit. I got the kit yesterday and there was no metal barrel. I sent the vendor a message that he forgot my metal gun barrel kit. My reply was he didn't know a metal gun barrel wasn't included in the kit and he appreciated the heads up and would correct the description he had on Ebay ( no offer to send one) I was going to return but now the other kits that included the metal gun barrels are sold out. Now the kit will cost me $121 because the cheapest metal gun barrel kit I could find with shipping is $31. I just wanted to throw out a warning to be real careful with Ebay because some vendors don't give out accurate information.
