Sometimes that parts spure is a common sprue on more than one kit (like their M113 running gear is in the M113, M113 ACAV, M113 FSV, M577, M106), so when they don't have it under one kit number, they may have it under another kit number.

Just heard back from Tamiya USA.  They do not have A sprue in stock. However he may have the specific part I’m looking for.  This may take several weeks to arrive.   I think I’m going to just buy another kit.  A new kit will be here in 3 days or so.  If Tamiya has it or I find the A sprue or part I’ll just build another one.  It is a really nice model and a dream to build.

Thanks for the help.

Cheers

Paul

I've bought from him multiple times, but often he has 5-10% sales which will drop a price from $9.99 to $8 and change. The problem with this is that the sprues are limited and if you wait to save a buck, you might miss out completely.

I often will buy multiple sprues from him at the same time which makes shipping free. It was free shipping with five or more sprues. One time I added a fifth sprue that was less money than shipping would have been if I only bought four sprues.

I think I've seen his auctions; I know I've seen other auctions for individual sprues from a kit.  Al and Rob, can you guys compare his price to what Tamiya charges?  I've seen high prices for individual sprues and thought that at those prices, it's almost worth it just to buy another kit.

I remember having to call them (Tamiya USA). If they have the kit, they will mail you the entire sprue. You will need a credit card because you will need to buy it.

I've also purchased sprues from this eBay seller. If you contact him, he may have the sprue you need. He has the "B" sprue listed for sale. Or you can click on the seller store and then spare parts sprues and search for yourself.

I purchased a sprue from this guy. Quick dellivery and no problems.

Tamiya replacement part

Anyone ever order Tamiya replacement parts?  I did something insanely stupid and ruined A9 in kit 61119 Supermarine Spitfire Mk1.  I emailed both Tamiya USA and the merchant I bought the kit from.  How long does this usually take?  EBAY and Amazon didn’t have the part or even the entire sprue A.

Thanks and any help is greatly appreciated
