Boy what an absolute JOKE RM customer service has no become. I ordered replacement parts four weeks ago. They said it would take two weeks. What gives? I remember when you could call in and get DIRECT answers from an individual RIGHT AWAY. I think that is what CS is all about. If you cannot be there for your customers then GET OUT OF BUSINESS!Sad [:(]Banged Head [banghead]Censored [censored]Grumpy [|(]Thumbs Down [tdn]Thumbs Down [tdn]Thumbs Down [tdn]Thumbs Down [tdn]Thumbs Down [tdn]Thumbs Down [tdn]

Sorry guys but I just cant help it. Take care. To all those whe DONT work for RM.

Hey Jim,

I guess this is a case of differing experiences. Last October, I went to their web site, filled out the replacement part form, paid my $5, and got my replacement parts a week and a half later. I was pretty happy about the whole transaction.

Have you tried calling thier comsumer affairs number?

Good luck,

jimz66 mate - I know how u feel. Being Down Under, we dont get offered replacement parts at all! But I also send emails just to inform them of the situation. I'm currently upset with Revell of Germanys CS, as I have made a number of email requests for info on such simple things as paint & glue products - they cant even send a reply email saying they can or cant help. It's hard mate!

At least you can get parts from them. AMT/ERTL's policy is no parts, return the kit to place of purchas. Hard to do when it's ebay, or a sap meet or the hobby shop has closed. So, ya waite a extra week or so from what they said. Sometimes the mail goofs things up. At least you can get them.

Wow!!! I guess I'm a double exception to the rule!!!
I have ALWAYS gotten fast response from RM and of the 2 times that I have had to deal with ERTL/AMT. They sent me a replacement kit BOTH times and said not to worry about the kits that I bought. It was their goof up and maybe I could use the kits for something, so just keep 'em.

I have to agree with Lufbery. I went online, paid a few bucks and had replacements in less than two weeks. Smile [:)]

But don't get me started on KIT quality. . . Evil [}:)]

cs is ok for me but monograms quality has gone to the toilet and what about the classics from the 60' s and the 70's they are all being re released under revell only now is seems like revell is letting good old monogram rot on the vine and using the marquee to sell their product! i remember when you never had to call monogram (unless you messed up the part in question, guilty!) sounds like what amf did to harley davidson way back when
