This will be short and sweet.

Being intended for builders using Lindberg's "Blue Devil" Destroyer Hull as a basis for certain Fletcher or slightly larger Gearing Builds! If you notice in close ups there seem to be plates visible in certain areas of the outside skin of the ship. These are ,( Or were) one of the reasons those wonderful ships lasted so long.

I call them wonderful. Some would disagree! That's their choice.  When I was on the Ozbourn, We had to assist the Shipfitter crew( Four guys) replace two of those Expansion Plates on the Hull and one  on the Deckhouse!

That was a job, Believe me. Now, on the Lindberg Model they would be visible ! Rivets, ( round head on the hull, flat head on the Deckhouse) this is accomplished by various Decal sheets made for this. The plates being .020 to be in scale on the hull,.010 on the Deckhouse! Model on!
