Tamiya bottle paint
Posted by ViperRSR on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 1:33 PM

Hello , Tamiya does not have an equivilant blue in their bottle paint to match their spray TS-44 Btilliant Blue . How can I mix their Blues to make it close to Brilliant Blue ? I've de-gassed the can to get all that was left, but still need more for touchups . Any help would sure be appreciated , Tom

I guess other than that, either get another can to de-gas,and keep the rest of the paint in a small jar,or mix whatever you have to get something similar...

Thanks,TheModeler(Novice Mode{Just for nowWink})

If it were me, I'd get another can of the TS-44.

But if that is not an option I'd try to lighten the LP-6 Pure Blue with LP-2 White.

Keep in mind most colors dry slightly lighter than they look while wet.

Build what you want and build it for yourself, the rest will follow... Mark D. Jones
