is Swannys models forum still active?

He quit and stopped updating the site around four years ago now. 

Wonder what happened.

Someone on a Reddit thread said they had been in touch with him, and that he said he stopped as it was taking up too much of his time. But also declined to sell the site as well. Take that for what it's worth. I've seen quite a few webmasters, YouTubers, etc. get burned out when the amount of work far exceeds the amount of fun being had. 

More work than we realize!

I enjoyed the DVDs he released, I learned quite a bit from them.  I think he made 3, but I only got the first 2.  Always meant to get the 3rd, but never got around to it.

There was a big "dust up", some years back. "Management" to the side of the guy that was the real jackwagon in it all. Some dude was offended by the views vs. response number (he wanted the "atta-boys")...so another guy set up a tripod on his keyboard, so the page would refresh, over and over...all night long. The offended party went from 26 views with 1 comment, to 26,000 views...with one comment! It was a joke...but some people can't take a joke.

Many left...it never was the same again. Guess that happens to forums from time to time!
