I have started a collection of aircraft and racing car sounds.  There is a lot of sound clips on the internet of aircraft engines  Try googling with engine name and mp3 as search terms. I have found and saved a dozen or so.  The aircraft engine historical society has a few at their website.

Any time I go to an airshow where they are going to be operating a big round engine I use either my video camera or my cell phone to record the sounds.

I remember getting a free 33 1/3 the size of a 45 when i bought a Revell Skycrane kit. There was a card in the kit to get it. It was either free or a buck, i don't remember.

Good question. I believe it was a 33 1/3 rpm 7" Record, correct?

"30 Seconds Over Tokyo".

One sold in 2019 for around $ 43.

Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
