HooYah Deep Sea My 'test' porthole was about 5/16". the build portholes are about 1/4". I was hoping not to have to cut or punch out little round pieces of clear plastic. Yeah, I'm kinda lazy, and impatient, I'll admit it.

That's pretty big. And make sure you shake the bottle well before using it.
I have been using Mod Podge for my windows. It's like thick white glue that applies with a small paint brush. Just brush on a thin coat on both surfaces and apply your window parts. This works very well for me. I even used it on a ceramic Easter Basket that seems to be holding its broken parts together very well. It was recommended by the HPI Guys.
Hi;
I have used it extensively. I find it to be my normal go to. Now that said, How big is the opening you are trying to use it in? You know, you can punch discs out the size you need from.010 Evergreen clear styrene sheet.
Another cheat is to cut strips that run the length of the group of P.Hs and do it that way.
"Why do I do this? Because the money's good, the scenery changes and they let me use explosives, okay?"
I have used it on small windows and it worked fine. How big are the portholes? If they are too large, and if you put it on too thick, it may never harden completely. Is it real clear yet? I would not use it for anything larger than about three sixteenth of an inch or comparable area.

It does stay a bit pliable, and never gets really hard. This is a good feature, if you ever have to remove the part. I have made lots of windows, with no problems.
Gimme a pigfoot, and a bottle of beer...
I have used that product in the past and I did not have any problems with it. However, I applied a very thin layer over the gauges on a dashboard.
Your comments and questions are always welcome.
I use the Pacer 560 version. Worked fine with a 1/72 PBY small side window. Was even able to mask over it.
Couple of guys are using the UV hardening stuff. Might get hold of Don Stauffer about that one.
Other than that, maybe thin clear styrene sheet, or pieces out of a clear fast food container or fruit container like berries come in.
I've decided to try this Testors stuff to make the glass in my dive boat portholes. I did a test one and it has been 3 days but the cement doesn't seem to want to really harden. It is staying soft, kind of like dried Elmer's glue. Anybody know or have used this stuff? Does it ever really harden or cure?
