Skymodels decals

I have a set of their Halifax decals i bought a few years back. Hannants don't have any of their sets in stock, but i guess that might be down to import issues from Europe due to Brexit. They do have a site but not much info on it.

It includes their e-mail so you could try dropping them a line. It seems to be a small outfit and given how Covid has hit Italy hard my guess is they have have been impacted by that. Can't find any sellers for their items listed on scalemates.

Thank, it seams everyone is out of stock from their decals. Hannants had reprints of their P-40 and early spitfires sheets that I was looking for. I waited a week or two too long to order and they were unavailable.

Just a friendly 'heads up' about Skymodels, if you haven't heard it before: I've got several of their sheets...use them, and like them...but they're fairly widely-known for varying degrees of inaccuracy in many of the markings they print. Stuff like odd color choices...putting on codes or serials for only one side of an a/c, and sometimes conflating markings for several different a/c into one.

Nothing heinous...it just helps to be aware to check their artwork against original sources when you can.

Hannants just received a shipment so I pulled the trigger. I will find out how they are in a few.

8 days later and my Royal Mail packet arrived from Hannants. I ordered the SkyModels Spitfires 48-033, FW 190 A/F 48-056 and .Curtiss P-40 48-047. Colors appear to be in check and the graphics a re sharp and in register. Might be that these are fresh printings but hey all look great.

They could have included more national insignias but at $4.99 each I can't complain.
