Well, it's Break-time.
Already got in four hours on the Rio's cranes. Now, it is funny to me. I have built models with no more than an idea. This one I am following patterns of sorts. Yet, I still got the first Crane totally wrong - Go Figure!
The second one is coming along just fine so I know there will be a third, so I will have a matching pair! The Boo-Booed one will be stuck to my note board as reminder that even after 70 years of doing this stuff I can still gloiously Mess up!
I want you to read this and remember, none of us is perfect and even the most beautiful Sculpture out there has a flaw.( My Favorite"The Beating Heart") in Rubies and Diamonds by Salvadore Dali, doesn't beat all the time properly!
So why try to be perfect? There is no such thing on the face of this planet, except the wondrous human form for Complication, and the single blade of grass for splendid Simplicity! Models-Now they will be as perfect as we see them. Not one bit more. How will this affect how others see our work?
Being as some folks I know, don't even know what a screwdriver is or how to use it, This miniature thing they are seeing is beyond them. So, they are amazed to no end, many are so impressed they can't but help think or say, "I can't do that, no way, Never"!
I always say, If you think you can't, you won't! Bu,t if you try, you might surprise yourself! Well, back to work, and think about what I said.
