Been playing around with this stuff and have not really seen any diferance in the two,  right down to texture and color. I think this stuff is the BULK tamiya tape I always wanted to find. am I right would like to know from the more educated modelers out there

I have used it, and the similar green one from the paint retail store. If not identical it's very close, I find it useful for general masking. But for more demanding tasks, like canopy frame masking, I still use the Tamiya or Frisket, sometimes even the hobby metal foil. Scotch brand Removeable Tape often works well, but can leave bit of adhesive behind to be cleaned up.

I used to use the green frogtape whene I was painting signs we would mask and then use a spray bottle of water to seal it, dry off the surface and paint not sure if the water spray is really neccesary but thats just how I learned to use frogtape
