Anyone starting in wooden ship kits really should begin with some solid hull models.

There is a youtuber John Altilanis (I think that is how it is spelled) who is currently building the Montanes and has built at least one other Occre kit in the past. He on part 85 of the Montanes build.

I have two of their kits but I have not yet started either one, the contents and instructions look just fine.

 A couple of years ago I started their Trinidad cross section kit as a way to try a wooden ship without having to bend and shape planks on the hull. The kit was well done and the instructions were suffucient to get the job done. If you haven't seen a wooden ship kit please be aware that all you get is a box full of strips of various sizes of lumber and dowels. It's up to you to cut each one to fit or sand and taper to the correct dimensions. That's why I have yet to finish it. After some time it gets tedious and I find I need to switch to something else for a break. I'm now at the rigging stage. If I ever want to try another wooden kit I'll get another one from Occre but I doubt I ever will. 

I've built to many ships I was thinking about the trams or trains

I have never heard of them until now so I took a look at their site.  The kits look interesting but at this point I have had to give up on sailing ships and certain other kits.
