Yes, you're correct!  A long time ago we had "Oshkosh B'Gosh" children's clothes and heavy duty work clothes for adults.  Unfortunately,  they moved out of state in the 90s.  Oshkosh is also home to the EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association) which meets each year in July.  A huge gathering for aircraft fans!

Thanks for the heads up.  I'm not a true "rivet counter" as long as the finished product looks the part.  I have built a couple of Italeri's armor kits in the past and I know of the "unique" challenges that they present.  I was a public school teacher in Oshkosh for 30 years  and I wish that I would've started this project before I retired.  It would've been a great display in our media center for the kids whose parents worked at Oshkosh Corp.

MR TOM SCHRY

Thank you Rob!  I was not aware of the varied designs built around Oskosh's Hemett chasis.

And there are conversions to make even more variations to the HEMTT based on those available HEMTT kits, like the M984A1 wrecker. You can go broke trying to make all the HEMTT variations.

Hi Tom;

     Wasn't there a company there in Oshkosh that made Work and Children's play clothes? Ya know, if you want quality it's "Oshkosh, by Gosh"

Hello!

I would just like to warn you against those Italeri HEMTTs - the chassis of those babies has some serious accuracy issues if that is important to you.

Good luck with your builds and have a nice day!

Hi Everyone,

I live in Oshkosh, WI home of the Oshkosh Corp. supplier of vehicles to the U.S. Army.  I was hoping that some of you could help me list kits in 1/35 scale that the Oshkosh Corp. makes for the army.  Presently, I have Italeri's HEMETT kits of the M 978 tanker truck, M985 gun truck, and a M977 flat bed truck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
