I tried emailing Zvezda and they got right back to me saying that the contact for that would be Hobby-Pro. So I sent them the same email that I sent Zvezda.

What's that address?

Good to hear.  I have a couple of their kits and they look great, but service is important.  Trumpeter are awesome.

Thanks,

John

Yesterday a small box arrived from Austria. Inside was the part I needed. So the good news if yes, you can get replacement parts from Zvezda. Bad news is it takes a while. Unfortunately I already came up with a work-around so I dont need it now!

Missing Zvezda parts

I was wondering if anyone has had any experience getting missing or lost parts from Zvezda. As luck would have it, I lost one part out of the 600 +/- parts for their excellent Pantsir-1 kit. I tried emailing Zvezda and they got right back to me saying that the contact for that would be Hobby-Pro. So I sent them the same email that I sent Zvezda. That was Friday. So far I've heard nothing back.

Has anyone has had any luck in dealing with these people.

Edited to say that Hobby-Pro got back to me yesterday. They said that they normally only replaced "broken parts" but "they would make an exception in my case". Don't know why I'm so special, and suspect it was just a line. They said they would send the part at no cost, but it could take 4-6 weeks as it is coming from Russia. That's fine with me as long as I get the part.
