Gecko makes a Skid Steer.

Back BC (before Covid), the Ft Worth Police Swat Team brought to the Alliance Airshow, their Skid Steer-based hostage breaching vehicle.  I thought this is the way to do it.

Or you can scratchbuild a set of forks and put Barnwood Builders' Johnny Jett at the controls

Meng (I think) does a line of construction equipment that the US military uses, but has civilian roots. It is one of the reasons why Hasegawa chose 1/35 scale instead of the more automotive scale of 1/24 or 1/25.

Yep,You read the title right!

I recently recieved a model I pre-ordered way back in May. It was out of stock mostly everywhere! It is in 1/35th too!

Well, never mind the suspense. It is a kit by Shake and Bake mfgr. Hasegawa! It is--the Zaxis135U.S. Excavator! Whatta pile of extremely executed detail parts this is. And NO P.E. Needed!Molded in Color Too!

As is typical for Hase-It's a one sheet, folded multiple times instruction sheet with color and decal and assemby Sequences In a poorly done english instruction sentence in extremely small print.  At the drawing of the part. Use yer magnifiers folks!

The parts are atypical for Hase- Finely Molded and Small attachment points to the parts from the sprue! Now I am going to have to do another bottle of Sproo-Gloo in this beautiful Construction Orange Plastic!

The clear parts are scary! Decals go on the inside Before installation AND they are crystal clear as well as thin. Be careful here. Oh, also very Optically Clear. Color callouts are for GSI Creos Aqueous color aand Mr.Color. pay attention for the color of the square doing the callout. GSI are white squares,Black letters. Mr.Color is the usual Black square, white letters.

The Treads and Hydraulic equipment are molded in a rubbery vinyl very nicely done!. If you buy it you will build it. At last it,s not a piece of Armor!
