Mopar Madness

Honestly folks, it's just a passive-aggressive form of aggravation.  The only solution is to ignore the post.  Ignore the aggressor and eventually they go elsewhere to receive the response and attention they need.  At this point it's quite evident the individual isn't genuinely interested in subject matter from 2003, 2006, etc...  Their only objective is to illicit a response and start the process over again.  In fact, these forums are rich with relevant information.  One only needs to scroll back one or two pages into a forum to find just about any bit of info they require.  Ignore like you've never ignored before my friends!  Wink

As I've said earlier, these may not be new to you, but they may be new to someone who has not been around as long or been as active.

If you can add something to the discussion do so.

Aaron, that being said, I'd question the need to respond to a 12-13 year old "thinner question" thread, where the original poster is no longer active (displays as "anonymous") and was answered well at the time, with a one line reply "always use the reccommended thinner for best results.".

This is one of the most frequently asked questions in the paint forum and despite the frequency with which it's asked, it always gets answered.

Not just one...but 10 straight in a row. Went through each sub-forum and found the oldest one opened it and post a 3-4 word sentence.

Hi Andrei,
I'm no expert on the He 177 but I would imagine that the cockpit would be RLM 66, a dark grey. HTH.

Gents, Let's keep it civil. I'm not sure I get all of the consternation over older threads being answered. As I've said earlier, these may not be new to you, but they may be new to someone who has not been around as long or been as active. If you feel a need to reply simply to call out the fact that a thread is old, perhaps you don't need to respond at all. If the subject doesn't interest you, leave it alone. If you can add something to the discussion do so. Regards, Aaron

I think you have mis understood me. I participate like every one does. why single me out? These are real topics, these all have relevence and have been answered with helpful replys. you should re evaluate your position and be considerate of all posters. we all contribute.

MM66 -

Sounds like you need to stay with current post and threads and contribute in a respectful manner. It seems with every sub-forum you post you are greeted with the same response from other forum members. You asked why you were being singled out....maybe you should ask yourself that question.

I would hate too see it come to the point to where no one replied to your threads or post or to where you don't feel welcomed. This is a place for all of us, including you to post and discuss modeling. I don't know what you've done to generate these responses...but maybe change your approach.

Edit: You opened and commented on 8 sub-forums today that are 9 years and older. This is way you are being questioned by a handful of forum members.

modelmaker66

why single me out?

Perhaps because you're the only one going out of their way to find ancient, obscure threads and commenting on them.

Why not respond to something more recent?

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.

May I ask you a question sir?  Do you scroll through all the sub-forums looking for threads from many years ago, to which you can reply?  No offence meant, I'm just really curious about your MO?

Are air tanks that expensive that this is a good alternative?

Alternative to air brush air !!!!

Hi all !!!!!

Last a new law here in Pa. , required every one that has a gas tank (for an outside gas grill) to get new valves put on. The only draw back is that the tank has to be a newer tank. In other words if the tank has to be pressure tested, you couldn't use it and you had to buy a new tank.....

Because of this, refill centers had/has an over abundance of tanks, and if you ask nicely you can get them really cheap or even for free.......

But if you can't use them for propane, what can you use them for you ask?????

Well, wash out the tank, let it fully air dry, drill and tap a few holes for air inlet, air outlet and an air gauge, and presto, an air brush tank............ if you have means of filling the tanks, this works great.... I have a big compressor in my shed, so when the air depletes i just walk outside and refill ...... no noisy compressors in the house!!!!
