Hi;
I know all of you have seen my posts where I mention the R.R.Museum. Well, I just delivered a very Bavarian looking Post Office building to the museum this morning. Those of you who do know there is ( Or was) a company called VOLLMER. They did RailRoad scenics. Well, A close friend gave me this kit to build and then give to the Museum. It had to be at least forty years old, In the Box, No parts Missing. Just to let you know they used exploded drawings because there was NO translations from German in the Instructions!
As I have mentioned ,we have spent over seven years and a lot and sweat and tears restoring the Marklin Layout that used to be in the JOSKE department store window,San Antonio, at Christmastime. We did it, but from time to time we will add something that wasn't included in the original layout because it needs to be there, Like a Post Office!
Nice;any pics?
Love those Vollmer kits!
They always take me back to my trip to Bavaria in the '80s. Really love that regional architecture, as well as the more contemporary structures.

Does the new camera use a flash card for storage, and does your computer have a flash card reader?
