Floaty Thingy-Glue Bomb
Posted by Tanker-Builder on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 10:20 AM

Hi Ya'll:

I am looking for a restorable Glue Bomb of the S.S.Argentina/Brasil, by Revell. It Doesn't need Props, Shafts, Lifeboats, Masts etc. I have all that stuff in my parts drawers,or I can scratch-Build it. I have some photos(Old) from when I cruised on her with my Missus! Plus I have been able to get other photos from various sources on the ship.

I cannot afford an old kit in the box, Shoot, For what is wanted in the market, I can get my Air Conditioner serviced in my car! All I ask is the hull and deckhouses and stack (If possible) be there. The Stack, because it was a false construct in which a Cocktail Lounge/ Small Restaurant was located, and shaped like a Ships bridge.

I can scratch it, but with my Parkinsons I might NOT be able to do the smaller parts of that! One thing for sure, I get plenty of frothy coffee holding my cup! I have tradeable stuff, but no money at this time, Shoot I still owe Pawel for the paper Mosquito!

Ah!

I have good and bad days. Shaking at it's worst requires Two handled Cups and such. Plus, I don't dare get near an X-Acto knife. Good days I can get probably four to five hours Good hours at the bench. The thing is there are also work arounds for average days(Resting Tremors and Laz-E-Eye) Bean bags to rest wrists on, and magnifying head gear.

And, NO, once it starts even with meds there's No stopping it. It is progressive and if you are diagnosed young, you get to where you cannot even drive or do other stuff(Micheal J.Fox) comes to mind.
