Thanks for What?
Posted by Tanker-Builder on Thursday, November 23, 2023 7:22 AM

We're supposed to be giving thanks? For What?

Oh, I dunno, How about this? Thanks for making it relatively healthy to Eighty? Thanks for all the friends I have? Thanks for the Modeling Community and all those wonderful Ideas. Thanks for the ability to buy any model I wish when I can afford it?

 That's all superficial to me!

If I am going to give thanks, it'll be this. All the above and a fairly clear mind to be using it to think this out and say it. Thanks for the ability to say Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless All. !!!!

I agree with your sentiment,I don't need a specific day to give thanks,I try to find something every day to give thanks for to my creator, whether it's big or small.Helps me have a positive attitude.

But today I am thankful for all the football today and nowhere to go and nothing to do Smile

It is said, "We are known by the company we keep." Thus I am thankful, especially this year, for the people of good quality that surround me as friends and associates.

"Why do I do this? Because the money's good, the scenery changes and they let me use explosives, okay?"

Well, I woke up on the right side of the dirt, so thanks for that.

I like my life and have no regrets. I am thankful for that.

I've made some good decision in my life and things have turned out very well for me and my family. I am thankful for that.

I'll be 60 in a few months (February), and I am in great health, have a good job, have an even better retirement income, have fun hobbies, and self sufficient children who can care for themselves and will often step in to help one another or their mother. I am thankful for that.
