I know many of you may have been bothered by this. When using the google search the back arrow has not been working. If the thing shown are not what you want, you had to start a new search. Apparently this has been going on for over a month.
I tried Bing yesterday. It is not what I consider a search engine. It seems to be Microsoft believes it knows what I what I want regardless of search terms. I started to explore other search engines.
Today I tried Google again- hey, it wworks right again!!
