TB,

That was me 40 years ago.  I'm too tired, cranky and lazy to do things the hard way!  Now I use my accumulated experience to take short cuts.  You could say that I now walk around the mountain vs going over it.

Or I just use a stick of dynamite.  Stick out tongue

 Hi!.

Did you ever wonder what if? What If ? you enjoyed the hard parts of modeling. Yes, there modelers, and I am afrAid I am headed in that direction who, build just for the sake of building. I have thought about that.

My question here is Why? I think it's a deep seated need to create, coupled with a situation where's no place to display a finished piece. So, Build close to a finish point and stop and move to something else.

If I were working in a shop where models were built, You would find me surrounded by parts and not a finished model in sight. I would be exploring the ways to do a certain thing, not done before, that would make that finished product stand out as certainly different and even though seen that way before, maybe with more detail or authenticity than the original!
