Hi Bill!

I think this one puts out about Ten. But with restrictive various nozzles I have gotten it to work for me. I still paint my cars with Rattle Cans anyway!

Missileman2000!

Yup, I do too. I got a Complete, never started, REVELL kit that way. It's name escapes me right now, because it's in the outside large stash. But, it was the larger spaceship with interior and the Launch Facility. Later came out as a Soviet machine, I believe.

For the time it was out it was extremely intricate as I remember. I got one as a Christmas Present one year along with a lot of the Monogram kits of Space vehicles designedby Willy Ley! My Step-Grandfather( he married G'Ma after G'pa passed) was a senior Postal Employee who firmly believed in America's Space Program being first in every way! So He enriched my life with models I couldn't afford that all had a space theme. Even the old Lindberg stuff!(Which, in Garage and yard sales I have found from time to time).

I've gotton nice kits at garage sales.  Best one was a 350th New jersey.  Kid had left for college, did'nt want any more.  Box was pretty much taped shut.  My worry was if it had been started.  They did not want to untape it.  They were only asking $30.  I explained my concerns, and got them down to $20.  When I got it home, found it had not even been started.  Lots of PE ( don't know if there was any aftermarket).  Anyway, it is in my queue while I recover from the last major ship build.

I always keep an eye out for model kits and tools at garage sails.

Imagine a CPAP at 25 psi! Mine runs at about 5 psi. Guess they don't make 'em like they used to! I bought a DeVilbiss two cylinder compressor quite a while ago at a garage sale for $ 20.

Noisy as a speedboat and suited for smaller air tools or full sized paint guns.

Tools and Yard Sales

Here's one for you.

I got my last P.E.bending tools from a yard sale. There were a series of Shortened dental tools that had perfectly straight shafts. Perfect for rolling and at least twelve different sizes. At another I got ball bearings. Assorted sizes from the size of half of this "o " to the size of This "O", and some even bigger and a few smaller. Total cost so far Two bucks!

Went to the third one and stared in shock. There were at least four, yes, four sets of ten saws in a case for cutting jewelry. Those cut a fret size the thickness of waxed paper! You can bet I bought one! Total price Eight Bucks! The very last for today was something I never expected. A "Whisper Quiet "Compressor rigged for Airbrushing.

These were used years ago for CPAP treatments, they are double filtered and the person I bought it from had added a Pressure Regulator and Moisture trap! His wiring for the controls was first rate and proffessional. So, I now have a New/Old compressor that works with DeVilbiss/Badger/and Paasche! The brands of my three main A/Bs and the ones I have drawers of repair parts for. Good day in all! Total cost for all $20.00! can't beat that with a stick.

So that said. Check Yard and Garage sales out ,Can't hurt and even might help with tools, Oh! And Materials. On the way home I saw one out of the corner of my eye, Found a place to turn around. Twelve full sheets of EverGreen .020 , .040 . and .060 -36 sheets in all, ten Bucks. the lady said she does not use it and it was something left over from her late husbands shop. P.S.Don't look excited until you have paid, then let it show on the way to the car!

So here we are Thirty Bucks down and we have obtained Tools and Material to keep the jobs flowing. How about that! So my modeling projects will stay on schedule for me!
