Being a WWII aircraft builder I consider the B-17 one of the best.

For me it's got to be the P-51 cause I have built so many of them. But the Spitfire, Bf-109 & P-47 all come in tied for close seconds.

I didn't see my favorite on there, the Chance Vought F-4U Corsiar. Second favorite has to be the Cadillac of the Skies.

there are so many choices that u havent mentioned.
jets v prop; fighter v bomber; single v multi engined; wwii v other era; etc etc etc.

my fav would have to be Vought F4U-1 Corsair.
but out of the list u've given it would av to be a Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress - nothing like a big bomber to get the project going (esp in 1/48)!

You're not alone, Keyworth. The Me 262 is not listed either.
My all-time favorite is Trimaster's Me 262. Its everything that I want in a model.

well out of the list you've given the 109 followed closely by the spit.
ihave 6 109s E3,E4trop,F4trop,G2,G6 and K4.
4 spitfires MK1,2MK9s and an MK14 teardrop canopy.

But my all time favorite is the FW190 D series which i have 2 190D9 and 190D12.

Mine would have to be the Me-163 Komet, but failing that I'm pleased to find the Skyhawk in your list! Second favourite, to be sure!

Haven't done much Aircraft building over the past years, though I do own a few. I'd like to do the following:
P-47 (have one)
FW 190
Spitfire
B-25
