If anybody's interested in doing any reading in preparation for either D-day itself or the
History Channel programming, I would suggest a great book by the famous military
historian John Keegan entitled Six Armies in Normandy. I highly reccommend any of this fellow's books. He's not a great speaker but an absolutely superb author. I believe
he teaches at Cambridge in the UK.

The History Channel is advertizing D-Day 60th Anniversary Week starting Sunday, May 29th with live coverage of the WWII Memorial Dedication. Special proramming follows each day through Sunday, June 6th.

I think the history channel is starting a 5 part seiries called hitlers western front.

I think its about the fall of the 3rd Reich.
