There are a couple more here. One called Phillips Toy Mart has a decent selection (About 30 minutes from Rivergate). There is also another Hobby Lobby in Murfreesboro and a Hobbytown USA near Franklin. About an hour from Portland though.

It's changed a lot over the years. Their store is composed of two long rooms, and the narrower of the two used to be solid kits. Now they are relegated to a few rows in the back of the store.

I forgot one though, and it's on that side of town. It's called Aardvarks Model Trains but they sell a lot of kits to. It's on Gallatin Road about 5 miles south of Rivergate Mall.

Well, maybe not. The stores mentioned are pretty much all there is around here Smile [:)] I can usually find something to build, but not always what I want. Also, the prices don't compare to mail order. Phillips and Aardvarks sell pretty much at list price. Hobby Lobby and Hobbytown have some discount, but not a lot.

I'm so happy for you too. Here, I've been wishing that we'll have big hobby shops like the ones you have there even if it will mean driving for over an hour
