Good for you Tim. My vacations always seem to center around "fixing things" or getting things done. I should set aside a "model building" vacation. Where does the time go?

2.) modelling 24/7
3.) all play no work lets me enjoy life for awhile
4.) bill collectors, clients, and other people who present a serious crimp on my time and patience
see definitions 1-3
5.) lemme alone I'm on a modelling vacation

Um...what's this word "vacation?" I'm gonna have to look that up...

Hey Brian!
When you find out what it is or means. Give me a shout.
I've noticed it in other posts and haven't come up with anything, myself. Confused [%-)]
And, is it pronounced vaw-kaw-shawn or vay-kay-shun?

Well, it certainly isn't in any of my English-Japanese dictionaries!!

Nice work, Tim.

Do you have an email address for that guy in TN? I am interested in doing the Earth shuttle on his site, if possible.

Regards, Dan

Dan I just sent you an e-mail with his e-mail address in it.

A guy in Nashville, TN joined up here looking for people willing to build him models for a movie he wrote and is putting together himself. He isn't paying anything at all, but wo do get full credit. Here is his website: http://www.geocities.com/pxmovie/models.html
I thought it was something I could do. So I'm building the Spaceship that will open and close the movie. If your interested he's probably still got something that needs to be built.

I was so glad to be able to model during this years vac. Last year I had to paint bedrooms in "new" house. YUCK!

This was much more relaxing, and enjoyable.Big Smile [:D]

Bummer, Vacation over, Progress Pic's

Well, my weeks vacation is over. I have to go back to work tonight. However I did get a lot of modeling done. Here are some progress pic's:

This is my Spruance (DML) and Fletcher (Tamiya) in 1/350 I call "First in class"
I really didn't get much done here. The PE is just killing any enthusiam.

This is a scratchbuilt spaceship "ARK II" I'm building for an Indy movie.

This is a 1/200 U-boat (Nichimo) that I started one night and didn't work anymore than that on.

Here is a Hasawega 1/32 P-52D I started, The plan was to have entire model done during the vacation. However somehow I lost the headrest (it's so big I can't believe I lost it) and got stuck.

And my prized possession, my Tamiya 1/32 Zero Sorry the pic's are blurry. I tried to get as close as I could.

Also I got the Trumpeter 1/32 F4F-4 Wildcat done that I posted earlier.Big Smile [:D]
