putting the finishing touches to Revell's 1/72 early prototype Eurofighter in BAe/RAF scheme, and working on the interior of Fujimi's 1/24 Renault Megane Coupe, wondering whether to (and how to!) add stuff like seatbelts and door openers :)

I'am working on a DC-6B from my employer scale 1/72. Besides that I'am a propliner freak and worked on that old beast. So just for nostalgy I want one in my collection.

Well, Since I just got back from some fine of the finer spots in Southwest Asia, I have a 1/72 scale Hasegawa A-10 "Freedom War-Hog". I am finishing it for an A-10 pilot that works in a squadron I used to be in. the decals and art on the box are from the exact plane that he flew in the Gulf War. trying to figure out how to make a good diorama for it. Thinking of depicting it in a revetment. Some good models being worked on out there. Keep it coming.

It's nice to know I'm not the only one with multiple kits on the go ! At the moment I am working on a 1/48 Tamiya USN Skyraider (just started) , a 1/72 USAF Delta Dart (nearly finished painting) and what I've referred to as a "long-termer" , a Hasagawa 1/48 USN F-14 Tomcat . I call it a long-termer because I've had all sorts of problems with it. But I'm glad to say that It's almost finished. It is now sat on my bench wearing VF-111 colours waiting for small exterior parts to be added and for it's carrier deck base to be completed. (If anyone out there has built this kit without too much fuss please let me know where I went wrong !)
I find 2 or 3 projects at a time works for me as my work takes up most of my time these days , so when I do get time off I try to make the most of it and get as much done as possible. I'm not working for the next two days-hmmm , plastic , paint ,glue
and etched brass. I'm gonna have me some fun !

Well - I have a long (or at least my wife says so) "waiting list" on my shelves, and each week comes another box ! So I try to do few projects at once, to make a free place on a shelf. So now I've just finished 1/48 Mc 202 Folgore (Hasegawa) and star with Ki 27 Nate (also 1/48 Hasegawa) and Piper L-4 Grasshoper (Academy). P-36 and P-400 will be next project ! Regards ! Aleksander

yeah, as has happened to everyone, my back wheel flew off into oblivion from a wuick shot from my snippers. Impatiant i was, i sanded down to wheels and glued them together to get a whell and hubcap its soooooo bad but from teh distance and side you see it, who cares. i want it to be in a shadowbox with a 1/35 tiger (forced perspective) with no lights, just silhuoetts and the bulb in the insulation technique for fire in th barrel. I am doing research to see if tigers were used in those blitzkriegs. like a night assualt on an east russian town....im getting excited talking about it.

Well, it depends. Sometimes I'm in the mood to build a bomber, sometimes a fighter, sometimes an easy kit, sometimes a complex kit. I have a stack of about 40 kits waiting to be built ( and actually i just got a box in the mail today from Squadron Shop with 2 more). Right now I seem to be in a British mode with the two models I listed above, and will probably be building the Classic Airframes Bristol Blenheim Mk. IV next.

I recently completed an Eagle Strike Fairey Firefly MK I in 1/48 scale, and am currently working on a Classic Airframes Lockheed Hudson Mk III. in 1/48 scale. the resin parts are really a challenge, lots of sawing and sanding. I pretty much just build one model at a time. When I finish one, I go to my pile and pick out the next project.

Working on an AMT '67 GTO for my daughter-in-law (her favorite car). Also an AMT '66 Skylark Modified Stocker. Wasn't happy with the undercarriage detail, but the 'carriage from the AMT '70 Monte Carlo fits almost perfectly.

hey smithm, the 1/72 tiger by hasagawa is waht im doing, would you agree that it is kinda simple yet undetailed. i glued and applied zimmereit in about 40 minutes, in cluding scratchbuilding. i wish those 1/72 kits wer just a bit more detailed, but i wont complain too much for the scale, it kinda fits

I do, but its pretty easy, I start one, then move on to the next. Some I seem to have been working on forever ( i started the airfix kit in 1998). oh and thats a Dragon 5cm PAK not a Gragon 5cm PAK

I have 3 in 1/32 scale, 3 in 1/35 scale, 3 in 1/12 scale, 4 in 1/48 scale, 2 in 1/24 scale. All of these are in various phases of construction.

Well absolutely empty right now!
About to pull the sole P-40 Tigershark I have off the shelf, to re-paint it from the US Army colour scheme, to the one which I have decals for which served as a Chinese one - just for something different.
What sort of numbers are you all tallying at the moment? In each different scale?

This has been a tremendous learning experience. I became interested in the subject after reading Dick Keresey's book "PT-105", and as a kid falling in love with PT Boats after reading PT-109 and seeing the movie. The research on this project has taken more hours than I can even guess at this point. I've contacted PT Boat veterans, joined PT Boats Inc., spoken with experts on boat paint and color, and accumulated more material than I really know what to do with.
After this I plan to do something a little more simple.

I'm not so much into ships, but it sounds like you have quite a project going on here. I admired the PT-109 as a kid and
one of its' crew members. Post some pictures when you are done.
