I don't know much about the Korean war, but as per the notes above, the Pershing was fairly representative of the American forces in that war.

A back issue of FSM had a feature, modeling the Korean war. Can't get to my mags at the moment to tell you which one. It had a list of kits available in various scales.

I may get so drunk, I have to crawl home. But dammit, I'll crawl like a Marine.

Concord puts out a very nice book that shows a lot of the armor that served in the Korean War. They also have a detailed history and some unit information in the front of the book.

Jds870, welcome to the forums. Thank your father for his service. I'm afraid I know little about the Korean War, but someone should have some information. The Chaffee, Pershing and T-34/85 are some good subjects of the era. Good luck.

My dad was in the Korean war I would would like to build some models from that period. I have found WW2 info but not much on Korea. Is there a web site that details/lists equipment that was used in Korea? I am looking at armour, not aircraft for this. My dad was in the 101st out of Kentucky.

Thanks,

Jim
