Visited Larry's yesterday, it was pretty decent, cool to look at all the RC's also. I went to Hobby Island today after work. Got there at 5:55 pm and they close at 6:00. :/ Figures. I got to do a brief look around, very nice store. I doubt I'll have time during the day to spend some time there unfortunately.

Island Hobbies on Richmond in the Westheimer area. Oustanding place for modelers. It is a plastic only place staffed by contest winners and on Saturday a couple of pro's. Plan on a lot of time and money. If it is available in plastic they have it.

LOL, ya, the yellow pages work, but in Houston there are a ton of hobby stores. I was hoping mabye there were one or two nice stores someone knew about. I'll resort to the hit and miss approach if all else fails..

I'll be working down there next week and would like to take advantage of visiting some good stores if they are down there.
