Out of all the models you've built, which model in your collection is your pride and joy?

Tough call, usually the most recent completed model. It represents my most current skills drawn from the lessons of previous models.

These two in my signature were two of the most recent completed builds in my collection before I left Canada a couple of weeks ago. I take great pride in both of them.

I'm the same!!Smile [:)]

The three models you see in my sig are my three latest builds, with I guess the E-100 still being my fave, although I think the BMP-3 is technically superior (the BMP-3 is my most recent build).

Pick ONE!?!? No can do. Can get it down to three ... the PB4Y-1, the B-17E and the Fw-200. Those are my flagship builds.

Hmmmm, would have to be either the Bf 109 G14, or the Mig 29, I'm about to buildSmile,Wink, & Grin [swg]
I just love both of them.

Of the built kits, would have to say my Panther G, and BV 141.

Hopefully my son will build a model or two, hard to know when they are 10 months old.
But if he did, and the house was on fire, I would sacrifice all of my collection to save his first build.
You can always build again, but it is never your first.

The Marder III I did. It just seems complete unlike all the others which I can find more to do to. Favorite because of sentimental would be the two replicas of my grandfathers NASCARs I have done.

Of my built kits I am most proud of two kits:
Tamiya T-72M1 - painted in a three tone camouflage scheme (russian green, black and lt. grey)

Tamiya King Tiger - painted in the ambush pattern and this is the model that I have recently finished.

Of my unbuilt kits, the "holy grail" is the 5 Star Models 2s6M Tunguska. Two years of searching and $140.00 later I have it. I have finally started clean up and hope to start building soon.

My Panther G Late. Still the only model I've completed since I've joined. It overtook my Tiger, because of weathering and painstaking detail.

Steve, where's the Reich Defense Markings on the P-51? LOL (Sorry if that is incorrect terminology)

Wthout question a 1/12 scale Britten V1000 motorcycle.
I spent months scratchbuilding and refining the original kit, and whenoffered $700 for the completed model, couldn't bring myself to sell it.
I'll be posting pics on Rongeorge shortly, so keep an eye out for it.

Cheers, LeeTree

Wibhi2, I rather like your P-39, looks dang nice. How did it go together? I have two of these waiting for me and I need something to break me out of my funk besides an 'ole Monogram B-25 I dragged outta the cobwebs...

Pix, I always like your stuff. I have to say that you're one of my favorite builders...

Dubix88, that base is a plaque from a local craft store, Michaels, I think. Cheap-O is sometimes Best-O. I must admit that I do like making bases almost as much as building models. Anyone in the market for a custom-finished display base? Wink [;)]Tongue [:P]

Tigerman, well.. it does have a Reich Defense Band... it's... uh... well... a clear stripe with... uh... two other clear stripes on either side... yeah... that's what it is... Confused [%-)]

But seriously, I think it would have to be my 1/350 Bismarck.

Thanks
It was a dream to work with. The only issue that remember with the p-39q profile pak was that the front windscreen masks didn't stay on too well and had to use my
own. The PE pak ws great and the only detail I added was a fuel line between the belly tank and fuselage underside. It'll get cha outta your funk for sure. It'd be nice to get the resin engine for the old monogram kit.

PIX: see blackwolf's comment. between you, him, swammy and several others.....ya'all have my rapt attention when you post projects.

jeeves: is that also the eduardo kit? nice looking build.

Geeze, BlackWolf & wibhi2 ! Such words humble this old paint & glue guy. I have fun, and I'm glad you enjoy my builds. Blush [:I]

wibhi2 - I've got the same Profi Pack kit I'm dying to build. I'm amazed at Eduard's ability to mold such petite parts. I found some nice Aeromaster decals, too. One of these days . . . Approve [^]

Since my collection is rather small, I'd have to say two:

This little (1/72) one because it was a "weekend group build with a couple of armor folks:

and this little (1/144) one, since it's the same plane my future father-in-law flew in the mid-60s with the Minnesota Air (National) Guard:
