Paragon Productions!!!
Posted by chopperfan on Friday, July 30, 2004 3:21 PM
If this is a repeat of an earlier post? I apologise.
I was just over at ARC and got this straight from the horses mouth uh, keyboard I guess I should say. Paragon is going back into production!!!
Not sure of a start up date but Neil, the proprietor, said that ALL of the old molds were just sitting there waiting for a home to work from.
Neil also said that there WOULD be some new projects in the works!!!
Anyway, I thought that some of you might like to know this if you didn't already know it.

They are, or should I say were, manufacturers of resin update and conversion sets for many different aircraft. Wingfold set for the Italeri S-3 Viking, A-26K Nimrod (Counter Invader) conversion and a lot of others.
They closed up shop, for what reason I don't really know but, from what I can gather they were a top notch company. Great detail and like I stated, lots of upgrades and conversions for aircraft that you couldn't get in kit form.
Swanny could give you a lot better insight as he has used thier products in the past.
Anyway, that's about all I know, other than Neil, the man-what-am-in-charge, stated that he was going back to England and check out a new facility to start production again. He wasn't sure of a start up date, but he did say soon he hoped.
I'll try and check back in as often as possible and keep everyone who is interested posted.
