Olive Drab

Olive Drab varied so much that the color match should be fine over time paint batches had color changes and the elements had a lot to do with it also they say it varied the color to almost a purple sometimes

Any shade should work, I remember the day we were walking out to our bird for the day and one of the pilots looked at one Huey sitting there and said, "Ididn't know there were that many shades of OD," That HUEY had been spot paint a lot to protect it, was really in need of a new paint job. Ive used the krylon military paints before when Im TDY somewhere and just feel the need to build something. They are mil spec and look pretty darn good on plastic.

Given the fact that WWII paint stocks varied considerably from batch to batch, I wouldn't be overly concerned if I were you.

Use what you've got and if it's a certain look you're going for, just lighten the Krylon OD to the shade you're after.

I would see why not,personally I would get a piece of cardboard and spray a square-patch and take a look at it.The kraylon OD should be to army specs.Digger

I don't know what the Krylon color looks like, but IMHO Model Masters is light for early war OD. Stocks vary from batch to batch, mfg. to mfg. IF you are in a big hurry, use what looks good to you.
