Chopperfan,

I was able to convert pics to different format. I discovered a slightly different method but thanks for the instructions anyway.

Will try to post them on photobucket tomorrow.

Okay Dave. Try this.
Right click on the picture you are wanting to put on photobucket. In the window that appears, click on "Edit".
The picture will appear in another window. In the upper left hand corner, click on "File".
In the drop down memu click on "Save As". In the window that appears, go to the "Save As Type:" at the bottom of that window and click on the arrow to the right. Then choose one of the other formats for that picture, JPEG, GIF, Bitmap, etc. Then save the picture.
Now you will have 2 copies of the picture. One a TIF and the other will be whatever you changed it to.
I hope this works for you. I know that I can do it on my computer.

Oh dear. Much to my dismay, Photobucket does not accept my computer's photo format. Does anyone know of any photo hosts that accept the TIF format?

Thank you,

Dave

Yeah http://photobucket.com/ is great. I've used several different sites but they are the best by far.

Hey Dave.
I use www.photobucket.com
It's a free site and does real good. There have been a couple of glitches but, he got right on it and had it figured out in no time at all.
