Pic hosts besides Photobucket and Yahoo?

I found success with Picturetrail. I have 2 pics of a Type IXc U-boat in the ships section. Interesting story behind the model if you care to read it. Pictures are a little hazy but basic image is good.

Try Ron's site. RonUSMC a member here has been offering his site as photo host for FSM since last year "for free".

Here's how to do it:

1 Go to his site via this link:

2 Log in using this account:

account: newfsm
password: models

3 Go to UPLOAD section. You can only upload pictures here and the pictures will be kept there for sometime until they are screened and moved to the final destinations (ARMOR, PLANES..etc) by Ron. To do this click the button "Admin Options" at the upper right corner of the page then "Add Photos". Follow the instructions.

4 After uploading use this link for your pictures:

If your pictures are still in the Upload Section:

http:/rongeorge.com/albums/upload/yourfilename.jpg

If your picture have been moved to the final destination:

http:/rongeorge.com/albums/armor/yourfilename.jpg

or planes, ships, diorama, etc.

Photobucket had some technical problem for a few days, but is running fine at this time. I've never had any problem with Photobucket other than this. You could try again, & make sure you are using the proper protocol for posting pics on FSM.

I know they offer a free trial...and it's really reasonable for the amount of storage you get and I've never had red-x syndrome with them.
