                        jeez, i now regret thowing it away (actually i popped it with a brick.

                        WOW! Never thought of that! Now you make me wish I hadn't ditched all my tube glue!Sad [:(]

                        Oh well....guess I'll know what to do if I by chance aquire anymore with a kit.

                        I would empty them into an old wide mouth paint bottle, add sprue and you have liquid plastic. Great for filling wide seams or building up areas. Works better than filler and when cured can be sanded without much damage or pitting.

                        Use an air tight bottle or you will have a bottle full of formed hard plastic.

                        throw them away??!!!?? i keep them for the foil.( not the glue ) and use them for various projects that require soft metal.

                        I collect them, like bottle caps, every manufacturer has a little uniqueness to their tubes. Of coarse I now have a coffee can full of these things. I get a kick out of the ones that come in the little rubber bubble. Poppin one open is like poppin a zit. I also have one from the early 70's that came in a pill capsule. I wonder how many people mistook it for a pain reliever.

                        ya know I had forgotten about those.. I got a few of those in kits back when I was younger... I always used what I had back then and threw those away... I remember the tiny tubes with chinese or japanese writing all over them and the seal took an icepick to puncture it was so thick....

                        i build a heck of a lot of academy kits, since in singapore they are excellent value for money. i am always greeted by the usual sprues. decals, cheap-looking instructions and..... a tube of thick gooey glue. i now have 3 tubes sitting in my supplies drawer. i was wondering if there is any good use for em, cos if there isnt, im gonna send em to the trash can.
