A great site! I like your comment about the "toy" Regulus. I remember getting and seeing those kinds of toys during the 60's and nothing was thought of it. Indeed those were different times, though I can't clearly see how these are better.

It took me down memory lane a little talking about the Nautilus (albeit shortly) As a Hospital Corpsman, I helped take care of Hyman Rickover at Bethesda Nat'l Naval Medical Center for a couple of weeks during the spring/summer of 1986. During his lucid moments you could feel the intense energy the man had, as well as the sharp mind.

He passed during his hospital stay, and so did a momument in submarine warfare...
