Bigger means more detail!!! It also means fit probl;ems and lots and lots of putty sometimes... The new huge trumpeter kits are a bit beyond my ahhh... monetary purchasing capacity-MPC- at the moment...

True enough. I just received their Karl Morser, and the box is gigantic. Still, it felt good to have a big box to play with Smile [:)]
And I can wholeheartedly agree with the 1/16 to 1/35 wish. I'd love to have that T-34 with full interior in 1/35.

What is it with Trumpeter and their "bigger is better" philosophy? I'd like some of their huge 1/16 armor in 1/35 scale. I was at my LHS and some of their new 1/24 aircraft and the above mentioned ship just dwarfed the display cases they were sitting upon.

I saw the Kuznetsov (ex Tbilisi) at my LHS yesterday and it is WOW!! I was in the Black Sea when the Soviets built this carrier, so I probably will buy this ship.

The Admiral Kuznestov is a monster! There's one built at the LHS, and it's one big ol' pile of plastic, to be sure. The Nimitz is even larger!

And to continue their "bigger is better" modelling philosophy, Trumpeter just released their two new 1/32 Avengers! Lots of plastic in those boxes.

I'm still seriously thinking about getting the 1/32 Su-27...

Trumpeter has certainly been coming out with a lot of goodies. Lets hope it continues.
