Battle damage done by Factory!?!
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, November 22, 2004 3:26 PM
Just popped open an older kit from the stash and found a little surprise inside:

The kit is the old IMAI 1/40 Orguss Variable type Olson Special, can't reorder the part as the company went under a few years ago.

Now I am facing 2 options resculpting the damage area or leavit as is and building internals for a damaged kit and damaging another part that would attach to the damaged area.
No reference materials handy for that specific area though.

Kinda inclined to do the damaged version as I think it looks good, better than if I tried to make it myself. Wink [;)]

What's your thougts??

Ok, moved the image to a new server, the other one has gone a bit funny by the looks of it.

I say make the damage a bit more sharp and jagged and go for the battle damage you're thinking of. You're gonna like it in the end. Cool [8D]

you know this reminds me of a haloween costume years ago. it was some power ranger thing and i had stuck a sticker on one of the gold fabric bits and when i peeled the sticker off the gold came off and left a black patch. it was damage done to "the white ranger" by an evil monster.

i'd say make it look worse and call it damage by an evil monster Wink [;)]
