I just watched a 1/72 scale Testors C-119G sell on ebay for just slightly better than $87.00. Wondering if I should sell mine - take the money and run.

what's truly mad is that I'm thinking of bidding 3 bucks on an ancient F-107 kit by Aurora.

The bidding wars on eBay seem to get out of hand quite often. I've seen rediculous prices paid, such as this, quite often. Chances are the next one offered will go for $10.00. High bids usually reflect a heated competition between 2 or more bidders that spirals out of control.

if someone's dumb enough (in my mind at least) to buy something that small made of plastic for $87, then i say grab the goods and GO swanny!! unless that is of course, if you want to build the kit....

same happened to me when I was looking for an OS2U on ebay... the first one got to 25 dollars and I stopped bidding, got to 35 when it sold... the next day I found one within hours of the end of auction and got it for 10 dollars... go figure...
