Load the file into an image editing software like Adobe Photoshop. There is a specific function that can modify the size of pictures and images.

Get a small little software called irfanview, it is FREE and does a LOT of stuff.

My suggestion would be to resize a few badges to the same dimensions and than combine them in a panoramic viewfile. Irfanview will do all that for you in no time and no steep learning curve involved either.

I also use it to adjust pics from my digital camera.

ok MM I've heard ya talk about this software from time to time, I guess I will have to go check it out... sounds decent! I usually use Photoshop, Fireworks or one of the more useful for "snapshot digital" - Print Shop Photo Pro (IMHO) but I guess I can't be a stick in the mud all my life haha...

Thanks for the recommendation!

Check it out.
It is a great little Utility to do the everyday conversions, adjustements, etc.

My Wife uses it a lot, but will still go to Illustrator or similar packages for the more difficult workload.
Example: Yesterday she used Irfanview to scan 40 photos and save them in the desired format.

Get it from here:

Let me know waht you think of it, naturally it is limited since it is FREEWARE.

If you have MS Office it may include MS Photo Editor, depending on the species of Office. It does quite a reasonable job for a bundled app if you don't have the high end stuff like Fireworks or Photoshop.

Great idea BTW, I wish there was a restriction on sizes so that we didn't have to waste bytes & real estate for some of the excessively ostentatious signatures around the traps. I know they're kind of fun, guys, but it's a pain for those wanting to just read the posts.

If you just want to read the messages in the posts and exclude the signature images...you can go to your profile and scroll down the bottom of the page. There you can choose TEXT only as the format of how you will view the webpage. By doing so you will only see the body (message in text + pictures) of the posts and not the signature images.
