Ordering from Hannants or HLJ.... (updated title)

You could also order them from Hobby Link Japan or Rainbow 10 in Japan.

Best to compare prices, HLJ has great service and I order often from them.
Haven't order anything from Rainbow 10 yet, but I believe their service is also good.

I've ordered from Hannants a few times, although it was a while ago. Service was good, although shipping was understandably slower & more expensive than ordering from North American sites.

Why would you want to order from Hannants?, it is the Hannants in the UK isnt it
with all the mail order sites over there im a bit suprised if it is Hannants in the UK

do you have to pay customs when you order from Japan or Europe ?
similary if a european (EU) fellow forumist has ordered from Japan.
I knw from Amazon that I do not have to pay customs when buing from the US.

Shipping time is 2 weeks on the average (for me and I live on the US east coast). They do have other rates for faster shipping. I've ordered from HLJ since their first year and they've always been great, though I hear good things about Rainbow 10 as well.

Captain Caveman, I was looking to order from Hannants or HLJ because i have been looking at the US based e-stores that i know of and none of them carry the tools that I have been looking for. I could order something else, but i have heard good things about the Hasegawa line of tools.
