Someone on the forums mentioned Avenel Hobbies in Colonia, NJ a few weeks ago. The wife and I had to go down to Princeton this week and I thought I'd make a detour on the way home and check the Avenel out. I walked out furious. Furious I didn't have more time, more money, more storage space... If you're anywhere near this place it's worth the detour. You'll find something you like. Planes, tanks, cars, figures, ships, sci-fi, magazines, reference books, paints, tools, resin, PE, decals (and the decals are even sort of organized)... The place looks like nothing from the outside, but inside is a whole different story.
Thanks to the member who first mentioned it. But now I'm going to have to keep coming up with more excuses to visit Jersey (Well, the wife found a yarn store in Princeton she really loved...)
