I've never come close to building that many in 3 weeks with such quality. My favorite is the tiger-striped MiG-21. Incredible, awesome.

In the last three weeks, sad but true, all I have done is work on scratching an interior for my tiger. and A weekend GB when I built the sdkfz 222. not much though.

I've got 2 models done in that time.. well there are a few things lacking on them still.. just got the antenna wire for them and have to put a prop on the SBD... etc.. but as I am a "soccer mom".. (my wife is in a lot of competitions for karate) I tend to spend a lot of time doing the house thing... when she gets her seocnd dan this summer its my turn to have fun!!!

Three weeks you have got to be kidding me; I would be hard-pressed to finish that much in a year, lol.
In 3 weeks, I think I have managed to do a lot of putty-ing and sanding on my F-22 to get it ready for paint. It's a pain trying to get those bomb and missile doors all closed up and flush.

Maddog's a regular assembly line...Great work!

I finished the Tamiya Panther G and started work on the DML E-100 and the Tamiya/SP Designs T-62 BDD. Oh, and I also spent a lot of money on models.

Wow, my building skills are lacking! Let's see, in 3 weeks I've started on a lot of different things, but have not finished any of them. Hopefully my Blitz gundam will be done this weekend!

Damn.....I am in awe....... I ordered almost as many kits as you built.......that isn't saying much, is it....lol

I haven't put glue to a model in over four months. Right now I am working on a 1/1 scale 33 foot camper that took damage during the hurricanes that came through the area last year. I have got to get it finished before the good weather gets here. Then, I will get back into building plastic again.

I've been busy in the last 3 weeks renovating and redecorating a couple of rooms in our new house........the wife points and says "do this, do that" and that's what gets done......painting, furniture, installing new lighting........and in between working bees I've managed to assemble two 1/48 Sea Furies for a contract build.......they're about a half hour away from primer at the moment.

Just keep pressing on those "honey-do's" and I'm sure she'll eventually run out of ideas on what to have you do... yeah, RIGHT! LOL. After looking at that "what I did in 3 weeks" pic, I'm working on everything I can to get a couple kits knocked out, then I start working on my new P-61!

Lee, you're right. I wanted five kids but my wife said, "You'll be lucky if you have ONE!" and so I haven't been lucky! I guess that is good, since it gives me so much time to build. I do have two cats though; they are almost like kids! Thanks for the comments though Lee, and good luck on the 'honeydo's'. Now that I'm unemployed, I've become the butler/houseboy at home now.

As for me, in the last three weeks, I finished my 1/32 Spitfire and started my 1/48 F4U-1D Corsair. To be honest, I'm lucky to get time to build at all as work and family tend to take up most of my time. However, I 've got a great wife who lets me escape to my workshop for a few hours each week so that I can unwind. Still, I always wish for more time-only 28 years to go before I can retire....................

No Dave, that's no typo! I started these in the last half of the last week of January and/or the first week in February and finished on February 18. Three weeks, give or take a day or two.

Amazing! For me, that's about twenty years worth of modeling. In just thge last three weeks, I've done a lot of sanding and painting a 1/24 scale computer for my tornado chase vehicle and making parts for a table for this computer. Monday, I finally stained the (wood) table parts walnut (to match the wood trim on the dashboard of the Tamiya Jeep Cherokee).

I remember the Good Year Blimp kit. I never built one but I remember seeing it in the hobby shops and in Revell's catalog. The last time I saw that kit in person was perhaps a year before moving to Arizona. A model railroad club in San Pedro, California had an unbuilt kit in a storeroom somewhere.

got to thinking about this. i cant say for sure for the last three weeks but i can say that since the first of the year i have completed nine builds. five from start to finish. three were 1/72, two were 1/35, the rest were 1/48.

Well, let's see...3 weeks ago I was packing models into boxes in New Jersey, celebrated my 37th birthday by cleaning the garage. I loaded the car and drive 900 miles in a snowstorm (from PA to IN) and finally landed in Wisconsin. I moved into a hotel until the apartment was ready, where I started work on a 1/32 Hasegawa Fw-109A-5 (about 50% done). I moved into my apartment last Friday, promptly set up my only table as a workbench, and dove into a 1/16 Trumpeter T-34/85. So there...that's what I've done in the last 3 weeks. And Duke, you sir are a madman...but keep up the good work, the plastic model industry is depending on YOU!! :-)

Huh, Like I can talk. In the last three weeks, I rebuilt a SBD-5 that was dropped while dusting the shelf, did a final coat of Future on a Wildcat, built three rockets, painted the hull on the United States, and started into a 1/350 Bismark. All while working a 90 hr week job. I guess it was to relieve the stress.

I have been hired by a friend of mine from church to help him run his new video rental store that he just opened. The pay is lousy; it will barely cover food expenses, but I get to watch DVD's all day for free!

Jim, I can't wait to see pics of your progress, it sounds like quite the project. I also gotta say, the Goodyear Blimp was pretty fun to build, and I love running it to make the lights move! Now I just have to get more signs made for it!

I went through that 'I gotta finish it' stage awhile ago...in fact, for the nearly the first 20 years I modeled...as a result, when the movers arrive from NJ, there will be some 850 built models of 1/72 WW2 aircraft that will have to end up somewhere.

Now, I tend to take alot longer to build things, primarily because of the quality and cost of these new kits, I have to do them justice.
