Yup, it's the web plus mega-discount stores like Hobby Lobby in the USA. LHS's can't compete with their 50% off coupons.

The renovation of Virra Mall has (temporarily, I hope) shut down one of the more accessible model stores in my area. With Special Toys Place out of the picture (at least in San Juan), where is it possible to go if you want to buy models and accessories? I know of Lil's in Megamall and another one in front of Quad Makati. Of course, the shop at Harrison is still there but the choices aren't that good anymore. So where else can a serious modeller go to in Metro Manila and find a shop that is well-stocked and with good variety of selections? Perhaps we can come up with a list for everyone's reference? Smile [:)]
