Great that makes 3 people i know made it in from the Kalamazoo show.
My Daughters 41 Willy's also made it in that she took 1st place with and this makes the end of a long year of show's come to a great end. Her car took 19 out of 22 1st place, 14 best of shows and the 1st place at Detroit Auto Rama 2004 and Best of show there.(kind of like the ridle award) And for her to make the Mag is such a great pleasuer of mine as a father..

I just got my issue yesterday, and yes, very nice build both. I especially like the Bird of Prey, it has to be the best one I've seen - period - including the one's they have in the Star Trek museum in the Las Vegas Hiltion. And I'm not even a Sci Fi builder (but a Star Trek fan)! Congrats again.

Brian mine is the Klingon Bird of prey that won Out-of-Box for Sci-Fi at the show. alby's was a AH-1S Cobra in Israeli Defense Force markings (1/48 Monogram).

Wow! Way to go!
You have championed the cause for all the disenfranchised SF builders here at FSM!

Very cool! Some well deserved congrats to you both! Now, get busy on that next kit! No time to be lollygagging with a goal like that!

Seriously, that's quite an accomplishment in my book. You should be pleased with your work getting that recognition.

2 of us have had our models published in FSM
Posted by therriman on Tuesday, March 1, 2005 10:01 AM
I got a heads up e-mail from a fellow member when I got in last night. And a peruse thru the latest (April 05) issue of FSM shows that albymoore (Albert Moore) and myself have had our models published in the "Kalamazoo show" section.

This fullfills a dream of mine. My long term goal, and to myself an indicator that I had "arrived" as a modeler, has been to get one of my models published in FSM. Now I have to work on getting one in the
Readers Gallery" section.

Congrats albymoore.
