1943 18th Panzer Div. Disruptive Paint Schemes and Regimental Symbols
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, March 17, 2005 3:02 AM
I have been wanting to do a theoretical panther tank model of the 18th Panzer Division's 18th Panzer Regiment. I was wandering if anyone knows if the 18th Panzer Division tanks had a disruptive paint scheme in the Spring, Summer and Fall of 1943. If so what was that paint scheme style and what colors were used for what parts of it. Also, could anyone tell me if the 18th Panzer Division tanks continued to carry their regimental symbol (a shield with a skull and crossbones and waves of water on a black background) in the Spring, Summer and Fall of 1943. If someone could help me with this I would really appreciate it. Thank you very much. Best regards, Hancock
