Posted by gregers on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 6:45 AM
HIya folks.
just lettting you all know i'm back. its been four months and a bl**dy lifetime but lifes getting sort of back to what ever passes for normal and my brain aint too fried. Joanna (aka Mosquito Maiden) shot me a text to say some of you good folks have asked about me and sent your best wishes. all i can say is a huge thank you to all of you. some of you know whats been going on in my life and all i will say is its been the worst seven months since things went shiney side down between me and bev. well, the kids are being well looked after (by me) the muts are still barkin, the cats still meowing, the snake still tries to bite me and i'm still breathing so things cant be all that bad.
all the best and again. THANK YOU ALL

GREG!!! What up buddy!? Please don't tell me she got the Saabs too!! Some @$$ slammed into the rear-end of mine two weeks ago, and he didn't have insurance.....bastard.

Sorry to hear of your difficulties, I hope that you can get back to building some models soon! The place has been empty without my fellow Saab lover!

Hiya guys. thanks to all of you, this is sort of humbling to know that you all missed me here. its going to take me time to catch up on the goings on around here. i.ve not done much modeling in the past 4 to 5 months but will, with luck get back into it. yep its been the big D alright. i've been trying to be mr nice guy through all of it and she's been doing her best to be a complete bitch (unfortunatly its something she's good at !!!). kik mate, sorry to hear about your Saab. pity we don't live on the same continent, my 900i is getting sold but they don't go for much over here so i'd have let you have it for free. i've got two to get rid of too, the white carb version is going too. i've got a 9000cs-xs thats my run around at the mo. its fully loaded and it cost me 700 quid, not much for a lot of car. she's got the 9-3 cabrio and i got the house. fair deal i suppose LoL. hope your saab is repairable, take the git to court and sue his ass.
one thing i must add here is a public thank you to Joanna (Mosquito Maiden) without her good advice, humor, patience and ability to listen, and for being my rock when i needed one, and most of all for being a friend i wouldn't have come through this. i won't go into details here but she made me give her a promise, it ws damned hard at times but i kept that promise and i'm still here. Joanna, thank you.
well...

Hi Greg,
Belated welcome back to the "asylum"...sorry your road lately has been quite bumpy, and hopefully things will be more smooth now. BTW, is that a Saab Draaken occupying some floor space under your sig? Which kit is it, it looks very cool!

HIya Elfkin and thanks for the welcome back, yep its a draken and its the old airfix kit, i did this one quite some years back and decided as i already had one in camo i would have one in grey. i used the same unit badges and numbers as the camo one to represent a kinda before and after pair. this one was re scribed but the camo wasn't as it is one very old build of mine, as you may guess i like my Saabs, i've got a small stash of them to build, (Saab group build anyone?. )
best regards and again thank you all for the welcome back.
Greg
