Well me an the misses was out on thr road, she came up with a suggestion that I will porbolbly do.She thinks that I should start teaching model build to kids and grown ups.She thinks that it would be a great thing to do since I am at home.I tend to agree also my brother is giving me a 12 colorer printer to start a printing bussiness.I was thinking of make water slide decals to sale with this printer to.I think I can mate the to ideals together. So what do you think and what would be involed in this adventure.Digger

HIya Digger, i think this is a great idea, though finding customers may be a problem. will you be charging for this or doing it for the experience / benefit of the hobby ? the decals could be a great idea, would you be doing upscaling / downscaling of kit / aftermarket sheets?. (copywright issues?) or doing your own or one off jobs?. i for one could do with some expert guidence to improve my meagre skills but am a bit too far away , i know my landrover is fitted with a wading snorkle but i think the pond is byond its capabilities LoL.
all the best with this exellent venture mate.

Check with the schools, tech centers, afterschool programs, libraries, and civic clubs, These folks seem to always be looking for some "skill" building ideas.

A couple of guys in my RC club are doing a building and flying seminar to an afterschool program this upcomming year.

A group of us in our model club was asked by an art teacher once to give airbrush demonstrations and instructions to a Three Dimensional Design class. She met me at a model show and was impressed by what we, as modelers, can do with an airbrush.

For you printing venture, let us know your capabilities and requirements. We are always looking for decal makers. However, it seems these stupid copyrights and other legalities get in the way. So good luck.
